My name is Ben Rittenhouse, and I am currently a Middle School Social Studies Teacher and Basketball Coach at Roswell Independent School District, located in Roswell, NM.I am a passionate lifelong learner who values the educational path of each and every student I encounter. I am committed to critical thinking and the continuous development of the thought process, of both myself and those around me, regardless of topic, situation, or circumstance. My strongest teaching skill is differentiated instruction and personalized learning, for I genuinely value the individual abilities and diversity of every student, and routinely lesson plan to reflect this. I am consistently aiming to develop my collaboration, classroom management, cooperative teaching, AVID, CHAMPs, Love and Logic, communication, modeling, technological, and general professional skills.I began my college career at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 2011. I graduated in 2014 with an AA in General Studies and Fine Arts, and then continued my education at Colorado State University, graduating in May 2017 with a BA in both Philosophy and History (Double Major), and then again in May 2018 with my M. Ed in Education and Human Services I have worked as a cook for several years in order to finance my ongoing education.
