Joining at the end of 2019, I assumed responsibility of event and broadcast gaming projects under Motorsport Games’ control across numerous game platforms in collaboration with external publishers such as Codemasters and Microsoft as well as Motorsport Games’ own NASCAR video games. Responsibilities included the creation of live-event activations and audience-attended arenas at the Autosport International Show.Throughout the initial pandemic lockdowns, my small team took onboard a number of projects with major rights holders in motorsport to fill the live sport entertainment gap that had appeared. In partnership with organisations like the 24 Hours of Le Mans/World Endurance Championship, Formula E and NASCAR, by the end of 2020 we had delivered over 54 million views across the 56 events that we were responsible for.In 2021, I took onboard additional responsibilities to launch a brand-new content and media ecosystem called Traxion.gg, centred around racing games and esports, from across the spectrum of publishers and platforms. The team delivers up-to-date editorial content, video reviews and entertainment, Twitch streaming and a popular podcast. Virtually Entertained was created as a boutique marketing-based events agency for esports (particularly motorsport sims/games). We offer live events globally, live broadcasting and consulting and installation for on dedicated esports installation centres.Our team have worked on large projects including Le Mans Esports Series, DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series, McLaren's "World's Fastest Gamer", and Nissan GT Sport Cup providing live broadcasting, competition management and technical support.As part of an agreement with Motorsport Network, the esports department and related assets were transferred to Motorsport Games at the end of 2019 but with Virtually Entertained remaining a separate independent entity.Virtually Entertained remains one of the UK’s largest suppliers of simulator rental equipment for events and exhibitions.

I imagined, created and developed an award winning leisure venue in the heart of Milton Keynes. With 15 networked simulators, as well as a licensed bar, we are able to host both individual and group events, along with corporate hospitality. Our simulator venue offers clients to experience the thrills of motorsport but at a significantly lower cost than traditional methods (such as karting and track days).During my tenure, we were fortunate enough to win two awards:1) MK Business Achievement Awards - 'Young Business Person of the Year'2) MK Food and Leisure Awards - 'Destination of the Year 2017'Whilst I still retain a controlling interest, I no longer work inside the business and instead enjoy watching the continued success story from the sidelines that my colleagues maintain and improve upon. In 2021 moved to a brand new location in the busy Theatre District in the Milton Keynes’ vibrant centre and look forward to further growth.

Directly responsible to the board of directors, I manage a prestigious venue with over 50 employees. I frequently entertain corporate clients and run events for up to 300 people. Communication is essential to the day-to-day operations of the venue; running interdepartmental meetings, contributing to external customer press releases and delivering impressive venue tours. Reporting operational issues and troubleshooting are also key elements of my job.

Following the completion of my degree, I rejoined the management team at Daytona. I took over the running of the Front of House department and events planning. During this period I helped relaunch Daytona’s merchandise sales at the venue and saw a substantial increase in revenue when compared to previous figures. In this role I took pride in my sales ability as I was able to secure a number of large bookings for the venue.

Between my second and third year at university, I assisted the company by taking a temporary management role in the venue’s largest department. I was responsible for a track team, consisting of over 25 employees. I monitored and increased staff performance by implementing a reward system with clear targets and standards.
