I am responsible for ensuring that digital projects, programs, and/or solution components of our digital ecosystem interact effectively to realize end-to-end customer value, both internal and external. I manage multiple external vendors and project developers to realize success for multiple web properties.I lead the high-level solution design across multiple development teams, ensuring that responsibilities are appropriately distributed across solution components, and that the system meets or exceeds non-functional requirements at an acceptable total cost of ownership. I oversee development of Oldcastle APG web sites and work with agency partners to keep development within the standards set by the ITS team.

In my role as lead developer in the Oldcastle APG marketing department, I develop, manage, and maintain approximately 50+ live websites. These sites include major brand sites (belgard.com, echelonmasonry.com, sakrete.com, anchorwall.com), sites for internal use, and a number of forward-facing regional company sites. I also manage large-scale digital projects including site development I manage a team that includes a content manager and a junior developer. Almost all of these sites make use of lead capture forms that are integrated with Salesforce. I maintain a complex network of integrations with Salesforce including MySQL, Postgres, Wufoo, email parsing, and offline lead capture.I work with directors and brand managers in the marketing department to determine appropriate digital solutions and enhancements. These projects are developed internally by myself and my team or built by external vendors under my supervision.In addition to front and back end development, I also maintain a number of web server environments. This includes vendor management, direct vps hosting, and server software configuration.

Ryerson Photography is my freelance portrait and event photography business. I designed and maintain the web site and blog as well as build web galleries for my clients so that they can view and purchase their photos via PayPal. I use HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP in this site. All the code is standards-compliant. The site can be found at ryersonphotography.com.

I designed and developed the new www.showcaseinc.com and www.theshowcaseschool.com. Both sites were built using HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, and WordPress, among other technologies. Showcase Photo & Video uses the site to provide their customers with information about upcoming events at the store as well as to sell products. The Showcase School of Photography allows people to register for its classes.I designed and developed an on-line image archive and sales system using HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, WordPress, and FoxyCart. The system is currently used by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) for photo and page reprint sales. I maintain this image archive for the AJC while controlling image quality, processing internet orders for digital printing, digital image archiving, archival print production and customer service. I use Photoshop extensively to edit, manipulate, restore and print digital images. Certain images are captured via negative and print scanners. I designed a color-managed workflow for fine art printing including color calibration of computer monitors and the creation of printer-specific color paper profiles. I also design and assemble task-specific computer workstations and maintain the software work environments. I install and network large-format Epson and Canon professional inkjet printers.

As a digital photographer and image editor, my duties included using a digital camera to photograph retail and industrial products, and then edit and retouch those product images using Adobe Photoshop, while checking images for quality and consistency. Images were used for product advertisement in print and web ads for companies such as Nestle, Nabisco, and Lowes.1-800-DATABASE, LTD. closed in November, 2001.
