I am a lifelong Kansan, who has spent his entire life in the Wichita region. Following graduation from High School, I went on to take classes through Wichita State University and Cowley College before beginning my professional career. I married my wife, Alysa, in May of 2016, and in February 2024, after over 2 years of foster care, we adopted our little guy. I am the President/CEO of the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita, KS, starting this role in October 2021. Since leading this organization, we have seen growth in attendance, revenue, perception, and development. To date we have seen an increase of over 70% in annual attendance, 125% increase in revenue, and past debt paid off, and stability in our accounts. I get the opportunity to serve as an ambassador for the historic role aviation has played in Kansas, and it's impact across the world. Additionally, we are working to expand our role in helping inspire the next generation of aviation/aerospace workers through STEM Learning.I was elected to the Park City - City Council in November of 2017. In my time I have served as a liaison to the Parks and Recreation Board, Storm Water Utility Board, Convention and Tourism Board and WAMPO. Prior to serving as the President/CEO for KAM, I was the Deputy Treasurer for Sedgwick County, responsible for working with our staff to see the collection and distribution of nearly $1B in tax revenue. I volunteer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on the Visionary of the Year Campaign, serving as Co-Chair of the 2024 campaign.. I volunteer at my church as the song leader and Deacon, and enjoy promoting my community to anyone and everyone. Wichita, Park City and our region are a true showcase of what is good. I'm an avid Chicago Cubs fan, who grew up watching Harry Carey on WGN and falling in love with the game. In my spare time, I like to attempt playing golf, and spending time with my family and friends.
