I was hired to create and lead a team responsible for updating and maintaining legacy code, while also driving the creation of internal tooling to support the business’s needs and assist in making each department more efficient.After being brought on, I hired four other local developers, as well as coordinated with two offshore teams to create a new reporting/ticketing dashboard that allowed for much better evaluation of our clients' current projects and their spends. We built a number of pipelines with Facebook, Google, and Snap to track user interaction, as well as general spend, and give our clients the best information based on the data available. In less than 1 year, the team I established and led saved CL more than half a million dollars while also promoting substantial growth for our customers (month over month gains ran from 12% up to 20%).

I was brought on to help organize current file structures, bring about a mobile-first perspective, help create a new e-commerce experience, and develop better UI/UX tooling to engage our clients. While maintaining the legacy code necessary for the site to run, I am part of a team tasked with creating a whole new experience for the customer in 2018. Day to day duties include managing tickets, attending sprint meetings, building static pages, assisting with promotional material, and other complimentary details. The web team I am a part of is contained in the marketing department. As such, SEO and analytics are also a daily consideration. The stack I work in is a vanilla.js/coffeescript front-end with jQuery, a RoR backend, plugged into a MySQL database and an Elasticsearch layer used for querying. Other parts of the environment I work in include BootStrap, Git, NPM, Yarn, SCSS, HAML, just to list a handful.
