CurrentAs a Manufacturing Engineer, I oversee ongoing manufacturing efforts for over one-thousand unique products with end use in high reliability applications including medical diagnostic, semiconductor, space flight, aerospace, defense, and power generation. My accomplishments include:• Leading the cross-functional team that invented a new manufacturing method for thin foil heaters (US Patent Application No. 18/007,913 – Jun 7, 2021), which resulted in greatly enhanced process capability and more than $80k/month in cost savings.• Analyzing product, process, labor, and quality data to find opportunities for improvement and executing changes resulting in optimized line and work center flows, increased manufacturability, and hundreds of thousands of dollars of annual cost savings.• Creating, reviewing, and amending thousands of controlled documents including specification drawings, work instructions, product control plans, inspection plans, verification plans, and standard process instructions through the New Product Introduction and Engineering Change Order processes.• Producing and maintaining thousands of Bills of Material and Routings within the Enterprise Resource Planning system to facilitate accurate costing, and appropriate material, staffing, and lead time planning.• Designing, creating, and managing hundreds of tools and calibration equipment pieces to ensure consistent product and process outputs, measurements, and quality controls.• Organizing, leading, and documenting recurring meetings with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to discuss products, processes, and quality through all levels of the supply chain.
