Bringing expertise from prior careers in modern engineering and manufacturing principles along with a deep understanding of commodity based engineering, being a Team Lead Engineer I worked directly with the Head of Engineering in transforming the company into a modern and efficient engineering organisation by leading projects to improve the teams work efficiency and design efficiency improving overall production times and product quality.Key Achievements:- Developed engineering scheduling tools that reviewed incoming order data up to three months in advance for the purpose of project look ahead and resource allocations, along with being used to better balance the production line based on Engineering capacity and throughput- Utilising these scheduling tools to manage the day to day activities of an Engineering team to ensure on time production releases enabling smooth workflows in the plant- Lead a wiring loom resource project that required in depth schematic reviews and optimisation resulting in a reduced number of design variations allowing better on site inventory management, improved process takt time of the harness assembly while improving product quality for the end customer- Conducted thorough hardware optimisation program improving hardware complexity from over 1000 pieces to just 300 through CAD design reviews reducing overall plant and operator complexity

Led the full development cycle of the front lighting systems on the global Ranger and Everest platforms over multiple program iterations from product concept, system and component design and testing, change and cost management, final launch and ongoing service support. Project success required leading a team of suppliers and internal cross functional systems through various meetings to ensure all parties worked together to achieve the cost targets and timing goals of the program. More recently I have branched into detailed data acquisition and analysis for the purpose of software issue resolution and improving overall vehicle software maturity via utilisation of the JIRA system.Key Achievements:● Successfully led the end to end release of most technologically advanced front end lighting system in it’s vehicle class involving complex interactions with the electrical systems teams at a level never seen before by our program● Greatly improved customer satisfaction from outgoing model and exceeding all customer expectations byintroducing new technologies to the vehicle line while under extreme cost, time and quality pressures● Identified improvements and assisted to optimise core requirement documentation of both Ford systems and supplier systems to ensure previously missed failure states could be captured.● Created and successfully pitched a business case to perform a major in cycle action saving the company millions of dollars while introducing new technology requiring heavy coordination with mating systems ensuringimplementation did not interrupt ongoing production● Coordinated the successful Homologation witness demonstration with external governing bodies of the entire vehicles lighting system ensuring the product met all legal guidelines and was saleable in all markets

Worked collaboratively with a team of university students on developing, manufacturing and a racing vehicle fit for competition. As part of the electric division we developed the second generation of electric vehicle• Led the design, development, and construction of the battery energy system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability• Employed skills in CAD, FAE to design and produce the system as part of my final year project• Managed the project on minimal budget and resources, all within a very strict time frame to ensure the vehicle won in its segment• Collaborated closely with other Student Engineers, fostering effective teamwork and communication to ensure the successful completion of the project despite tight time and budget constraints
