• Led the enterprise performance and scalability program at a critical point in a £300 million platform transformation program. Before commencing, the NFR RAG status was Red. Within 15 months I had curated DST’s first team in Hangzhou, China and the team shifted the RAG status from Red to Green • Produced the solution architecture to support employer schemes and insurance for the UK market including high-level designs and estimates. Developed a proof of concept and presented it to stakeholders including client executivesAs a senior member of the architecture group my role is to:• Develop, workshop and explore solutions that achieve end-to-end functional and non-functional requirements, producing high-level design blueprints and estimates. • Tech lead in the functional uplift of the Bluedoor platform for the UK market, a key strategic initiative for the DST business. Implemented the first UK platform transformation which has generated more than £170 million in revenue for the organisation.• Successful platform implementation for an industry superannuation fund that processes employee contribution returns and offers Death\TPD and salary continuance insurance. • Contributed to the rapid growth of the organisation from 35 to more than 180 employees in less than four years and saw our client base increase by more than 400%.As a member of the technical leadership group my role involved:• Producing high level and detailed designs for functional areas of the platform by analysing functional specifications.• Management and delegation of design and coding assignments to team members. Reviewing coding and design tasks to ensure compliance with accepted design patterns and coding standards developed by the leadership group. • Participating in requirements gathering workshops with clients to explore a range of solutions to meet short and long term objectives while maintaining the integrity of the core platform. • Regularly meet with leadership group to discuss core changes to the system, examine issues that may be impairing the quality and timeframe of deliverables, drive new initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of software and to put in place governance practices to support this. • Reporting to project manager and solution architect on the progress of tasks, critical issues and risks to the project timeframes.
