Currently toeing the line between theory and application. With a passionate interest in exercise physiology, data analytics, and critical thinking I find enjoyment in solving the puzzle that is human performance.My interest in this field was cultivated through my lifetime as I was an athlete of many sports, culminating in four years as a varsity swimmer through college. Through my All-American career, I became enthralled with training physiology and training theory. After taking a couple years to apply my knowledge in the private sector, I decided to head back to school and further educate myself in the all components of human performance.After completing a Master's degree at Kansas State University, I felt the need to dive even deeper in the field and accepted an Associate Instructor position at Indiana University. While completing my PhD in Exercise Physiology, I have stayed current in the application of knowledge through working in and consulting with private gyms, directly coaching athletes at all levels, as well as being a sports science liaison for multiple NCAA athletic programs.
