As a people leader, my passion is people. I want to lead a workforce where people feel inspired to come to work and at the end of the day leave fulfilled and satisfied.I admire the following statement "Leadership is a 2-way street; your people don't just work for you; you are there to work for your people". A simple mantra when executed and truly embraced by a leader produces a healthy and positive relationship built on trust and understanding. Take care of your people and they will take care of your business and customers. As a highly motivated and results driven IT leader, I have a proven track record for ‘getting things done’ and a ‘think outside the square’ approach when it comes to managing delivery. In my 18-year journey through the IT sector, I've embraced various technical roles, subsequently transitioning into management and leadership. My career experience has given me the skills to manage complex situations and problems and the ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently. My leadership skill set allows me to manage and lead diverse teams of people, bringing together pockets of knowledge and excellence into a wider team structure, whilst maintaining a positive team culture focused on delivery and high-quality outputs. Recently, my focus has sharply turned towards Data and Analytics, a domain in which I have become deeply involved. A Data and Analytics path has allowed me to expand my skill set and adopt a modern data-led approach to solving business and customer problems. Hearing "we've always done it this way" is a prime statement for change and something I feel compelled to challenge by using data to find a better way.
