Throughout the semester, I consulted for Cardinal Health and developed a proposal for international expansion, as well as outlining market-entry strategies. This gave me an opportunity to gain valuable experience in client management and service. I was able to enhance my cross-cultural communication and team building skills to deal with the ambiguity and uncertainty of the project. My team and I provided recommendations for implementing specific technology solutions, to allow Cardinal Health to remain a long-lasting competitor in a very complex industry.

During my internship at ARC Resin Corporation, I gained a ton of new knowledge, experiences, and met many wonderful people. While working in customer service, I was given a project for a business conference. Through this project, I gathered contact information for future clients to be put into a spreadsheet for corporate observation and analysis through Microsoft Excel. This allowed ARC to know who was going to be at the conference to increase their clientele. This was not a typical internship, each week I was transferred through each department. I believe that my adaptability and perseverance allowed me to be successful in this internship. While working in the Finance department, I observed and assisted accounts payable and receivables data entry along with payroll from each of our major clients. At various times throughout the internship, I assisted in the sales department and logistics to guarantee client satisfaction and distribution of the product. Lastly, as the company was growing and expanding into larger regions, ARC was not able to house all their product. They began building for a new warehouse and office for their employees to ensure they were successful. Through this project I executed inventory organization and supply chain methods in the warehouse offering engineering grade resins to thousands of molders throughout the United States and Canada. I am very grateful for the opportunity that ARC Resin Corporation provided me. I will be able to take this amazing experience and knowledge, as well as the connections I made with coworkers, to become a valuable asset for my future employers.
