Designed ELT process for student data warehouse modernization project using industry-standard tools such as airflow, DBT, parquet, and S3. Acted as main liaison between OTDI and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication for the RAE Student Data project. Prioritized and distributed work among project team members, based on input from leadership and stakeholders. Gathered consensus and by-in around the new process from team members, leadership, and business stakeholders through formal and informal presentations.Designed flexible plugin-based architecture for student data DAGs, including new features such as history tables which enable time-travel queries on student data. To support scalability, migrated DAG to an AWS airflow environment and added multi-executor functionality with KEDA autoscaling for airflow celery workers while retaining the flexibility of kubernetes job execution for more resource-intensive tasks.Developed enhancements to our airflow CI/CD processes for code deployment and containerization. Continued development of airflow API client in python to improve resilience to API failures and minimize downstream impacts to ODS batch load.Resolved recurring show-stopper error on metadata collection for the data catalog. Decompiled and reversed-engineered vendor provided JAR file to pinpoint the root cause. Proposed a solution and secured go ahead from data governance teams at OTDI and WMC, developed and implemented solution running as a cronjob on existing Kubernetes platform.Guide new team members on technical and architectural decisions, with an emphasis on communication with other teams, developers, and users to better understand the context and implications of technical decisions with respect to the entire university. Evaluation, testing, and POC development of new tools, libraries, and frameworks for productivity, security, and flexibility to determine if they contribute to the success of our overall data platform.

Integrating diverse data sources from across the University using python and SQL for use in executive-level tableau reporting. Designing, building, and deploying tableau dashboards for both Executive leadership and Board of Trustees.
