Was entrusted with being the sole backend engineer for the flagship game a month and a half into the job, and served as the backend lead for the game.Responsible for server side code and infrastructure, including service api, database and cloud server management, and ensuring service availability and reliability.Notables:- Delivered on the backend of the Leaderboards feature- Reorganized the server architecture to be much more resilient and ensure availability of major game features- Automated numerous operational tasks- Vastly improved IAP receipt verification logic, including an automated breaker when external dependency failures are detected- Upgraded backend servers to use Docker with AWS ECS and Secrets Manager- Designed and implemented the backend for a new daily login reward feature, and various other features that were migrated from the frontend to the backend such as IAP product catalog&contents- Designed and implemented a liveops content promotion pipeline with multiple guardrails to vastly improve team efficiency- Planned, coordinated, and executed a cross AWS account backend migration with minimal planned downtime

・As a vendor, worked full time at みずほ証券株式会社(Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd.) for the full duration. ・2014~2016: Worked to the capacity of the team sub-lead, assuming the role of substitute team lead when the actual lead was absent. This included becoming the first contact point for our clients at Mizuho.・2016~2017: Officially became the team lead until my departure. Mentored 5 new members who joined the team during this timeMy team was responsible for the development and maintenance of a 3-tiered trades registration system through which Mizuho employees conducted daily business. I played an integral role in the development and delivery of multiple feature updates, including 2 major version upgrades, earning great trust from clients. I also concurrently lead another small team in charge of a system that automatically creates PDF reports closely related to the previously mentioned trades registration system.Mainly worked with server-side Java, with a little bit of C# for the front end.
