As Technical Project Manager I oversee the custom requirements of projects at Orbit. Responsibilities include: - Requirements gathering and documentation for ecommerce and integration phases of projects, specifically working with WordPress, Drupal and Shopify - Data modeling and migration from legacy systems to the new platform - Interaction with business systems such as Marketo and Salesforce to support business operations - Develop plans for internal and client acceptance testing, as well as regression testing for future enhancements - Lead meetings with technical and business/marketing clients to ensure the solution meets the needs of the businessI draw on years of experience, familiarity with ecosystems of open source platforms as well as a code and database-level understanding to properly estimate, plan and implement the solutions for clients of all sizes and sophistication.

In the role of Project Manager, I am responsible for leading the project, both internally and client-facing. This includes guiding the client through our redesign process: - Lead meetings to understand the client’s business and functional goals, receive and process feedback, and keep the project moving to maintain budget and timeline - Lead and participate in internal meetings to oversee the development of deliverables to ensure they align with the client’s goals and preferences while not straying from the agreed-upon scope - Oversee the development phase of the project to ensure the features are built according to the expectations set in the earlier phases while keeping in mind the ease of managing the site for the client - Oversee the QA and content entry processes to ensure the final product is functional, sleek and meets the original project goals
