I was responsible for managing, and ultimately growing, several niche Divisions within a large Travel Corporation, including our First & Business Class Travel Specialists, our “Complex Air” Specialists, our Group Travel Experts & our Tailor-Made Holiday Division.• Business Planning, forecasting & budgeting, Tracking KPIs daily/weekly/monthly/annually. • Direct Report for 20+ Managers of niche teams within the company, overseeing all aspects of their business, including HR, finance, training, marketing & recruitment.• Monitored analytics to ensure best practices, grow enquiry, conversion & sale values.• Worked alongside Marketing teams to ensure relevant campaigns, and Product owners to ensure best product was available for our customers.• Reported directly into UK Leisure MD, and an active member of Brand SWOT team, sitting in on weekly meetings with other key stakeholders.

My responsibilities included: • Overseeing all aspects of running a network of 90+ travel retail stores across the UK & Ireland.• Conducting & collating Quarterly Reviews to drive & monitor store performance.• Writing & delivering training courses for sales people & managers.• Providing support to managers across the network in customer issues, portfolio management, staffing & property solutions.• Performing store observations to perfect & drive brand uniformity.• Sitting on Central Operations Team to work alongside National Operations Manager to deliver brand profit & growth.

• Providing communication & leadership to an area comprising over 100 travel consultants, whilst also working alongside Head of Retail to ensure uniformity across the Leisure Brands.• Area Management of up to 25 High Street Travel Agencies, including hiring & firing, customer service delivery, sales targets, KPI reports, P&L’s.• Overseeing Leadership development, including running traning courses & sales workshops for store managers, aspiring managers & consultants of all levels.• Mentoring Senior Leaders promoted into Area Leader roles around the country.• Managing all aspects of Leadership & Staff Conferences, including hosting, writing & delivering sessions, & overall logistical planning.
