As a member of the Guildhall Stage department, I work to provide Sound, Lighting, Video, and Staging for Conferences, Touring Concerts, In-House Productions, Award/Community Events, Comedians, and Club Nights.Working to provide a high standard of technical service across the whole building, including the 2,000-capacity Main Hall, the 800-capacity 'The Box', and the 200-capacity Studio venue.

Working as a Junior Carpenter/Labourer for Quay Building Services, I learnt up-to-date construction and carpentry techniques, and also gained extensive knowledge of Health and Safety in construction.

After a few months as Bar Porter, I was then moved onto food service, learning a lot about Asian, specifically Bengali cuisine. I also learnt a lot about customer service and positive customer interactions, as well as developed my problem-solving skills and ability to work under massive time constraints.

Kassia Drayton was my first job when I was in my last year of school. Initially starting as a bar porter, it was my job to ensure the bar was fully stocked, something that could become quite challenging during busier hours.
