Since joining Abzorb in 2006, I have overseen the development of a suite of technological tools, reports and business processes that have helped the business grow to a turnover of over £25m (in 2019). I have driven development of a robust and accessible CRM/ERP platform that integrates directly with 3 mobile networks and a number of fixed service suppliers. The platform we have developed now offers API integration to our partners and suppliers allowing those partners to automate some of their own business processes and to benefit from that integration with our suppliers. I am responsible for a team of BI specialists, software specialists and engineers, managing our internal and external IT support functions as well as the product development team. My management skills have flourished through my time with Abzorb. I also own Abzorb’s information security management system, working with the business to identify and manage risks using the framework set out within the ISO 27001 international standard in information security management.As a member of the senior management team, I report regularly to the board on all areas of IT, information security and product development. I maintain a very hands-on role, balancing my management responsibilities with advanced development requirements and escalations within the business.My goal at Abzorb is to provide a technological springboard for our various sales channels to grow business revenue whilst helping the operational teams make the most of their resource day to day.
