I am Ben Summer, currently a Senior at Ithaca College. I am majoring in Television-Radio, and minoring in Computer Science. I have a background in video production and live broadcast.In middle school and high school, I spent much of my free time being creative, and learning software such as Lightworks Video Editor, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, and Open Broadcasting Software through creation of gaming videos, edits of existing content, skits, music edits, documentary content, and keyframing.At Ithaca College, I have been granted the opportunity to work on more traditional broadcast content. I have spent much of my time studying how to use the Grassvalley Karerra video switchers that we have access to in our facilities. I have worked on many different forms of broadcast content through ICTV, such as entertainment, sports, live news, and live sports. My most recent work on ICTV has been tech producing Newswatch Thursday and doing the video switching for the 64th annual Cortaca Jug.I am currently taking time off from school to focus on learning computer programming, improve my workflow, and acquire further life experience that school cannot offer.I live in Bergen County New Jersey with my loving mother, her fiancé, my crazy, wonderful brother, and my dog and two cats.
