In early 2020, I founded The Summit, a specialized technology consultancy dedicated to enhancing business performance. Our mission is to empower businesses to achieve their maximum potential. As The Summit team, we lead by example, ensuring that our own performance matches the heights we help our clients reach.Ben creates visions and opportunities for businesses from FTSE 100 to local start ups. Designing and architecting analytics platforms across a diverse range of industries for business and organisations that compete on a global scale.His skills focus on advanced data modelling, business performance, visual analytics and cloud technologies (Power BI, DAX, SSAS, Azure Analytics Services, ADF, SQL and more). Ben has a deep specialist in analytics and is a rapid learner with deep multi-industry experience. “What drives me is being able to share my vision with other like-minded performance-hungry experts and building things that exceed the expectations of my clients, turning what they thought was impossible into a reality. What excites me most about the tech landscape is how much more opportunity there is to come.” As well as an irrepressible drive to take great businesses to new heights, Ben’s energy, passion, determination and creativity mean that he will always address the issues businesses are facing head on, empowering them with data analytics they can trust, insights they can use and impact they can measure - all delivered with his characteristic personable approach, humour and charm. “Along with the rest of the Summit team, I feel a constant drive to keep fit, and get stronger, faster and better at my chosen sports. This push echoes through our personal and business lives, we definitely bring a ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality to everything we do.” When he’s not working to help businesses reach new levels of success, you’ll find Ben pushing his own limits out in nature, whether that’s skiing or taking on the trails of Jersey’s north coast. “I love trail running for the way it builds endurance, clears the mind and keeps me in touch with nature. And then of course cycling, being able to create speed and pace from your own engine and generate performance stats galore, what’s not to like!” Ben holds a Masters in Business Technology Consulting from Henley Business School and is also a PRINCE2 Certified Practitioner.
