Responsible for the project management of the development and integration of software supply chain solutions including carrier management, freight simulation and export documentation for a customer base including market leaders in the consumer products, defence and manufacturing and electronics industries.Managed the development, delivery and integration into SAP of a customised export documentation and carrier management system for Honeywell, a Fortune 100 customer of AEB. Project managed the six month effort to develop the system with a delivery team based in Germany and support through value chain acceptance testing and the subsequent integration with major freight forwarders, Honeywell’s SAP system and the AEB data centre. Provided on-site implementation management as part of the deployment of Honeywell’s 'Common Processes and Systems' lean methodology at their distribution centre.Requirements gathering with customer and production of requirements specification document (functional/technical specification).Project planning and scheduling including negotiation of development resource. Taylor & Francis' Project Manager of BMIS (Book's Management Information System), a business critical, deadline driven project to upgrade T&F's business intelligence capability. After identifying and documenting T&F's existing processes, systems and assets that supported organisational decision making, new data enquiry and reporting systems were developed and delivered resulting in management having faster, easier access to the right information at the right time.Implementation of BMIS subsequently enabled more informed organisational decision making and a seamless change of distribution centre and sales order processing system for the organisation. During implementation of BMIS, defined, created and delivered training content tailored to the needs of individual teams and company sites in the UK, US and Asia, enabling users of T&F's data enquiry and reporting systems to produce better quality data analytics for management interpretation. Led a cross functional steering committee composed of Finance, Business Systems, Supply Chain and Product Managers organised in recognition of the need for greater communication across functional teams. By rationalising and harmonising disparate processes and dataflows between systems the initiative resulted in increased “ownership” of business systems and processes. Recognised business benefits included reduction in the duplication of data in core business systems, increased data integrity and ultimately an increased realisation of order fulfilment. Led the project initiation and requirements gathering of Global BMIS, a project to define and deliver the systems and processes required to harmonise global profit centre reporting mechanisms and deliver the functionality of the existing T&F Books' reporting systems to the US and Asia. Created and delivered the Project Initiation Document and Scope Document and managed the business analysis effort with requirement's gathering workshops conducted in the UK, US and Asia.
