CNA is a 15 year old Executive Search business, acquired by Pertemps Investments / Network Group Holdings in 2009. I operated across a horizontal market and used a combination of pro-active marketing and existing contacts to maintain the broadest network of potential employers and to identify the most suitable opportunities for my candidates. Executive search services in the 'mid' to senior end, typically from £80,000 to £150,000. Operating internationally, I was responsible for identifying top quality market place talent and for assisting these individuals with identifying suitable career opportunities.

Business development and Management of a busy CAD design office and generating new business leads from across the Automotive industry. Clients included, Jaguar, Daimler, Bentley, Aston Martin, Visteon etc.

Recruited to develop, write and train all levels of staff, from sales negotiators through financiall advisers to Branch Managers. Also recruited and trained a small call-centre, servicing branch sourced Mortgage leads. Co-developed a training package for the Financial Advisers and Mortgage Brokers, to be both FSA compliant at the same time as increasing sales and professionalism. Taylors billed their best consecutive 12 months of sales in their 9 year history.

8.5 years developing, selling and running tailored sales based courses to the Life Assurance industry. Ran courses for most Life companies that you can think of, consistently increasing sales and productivity and growing my business on a referrals basis. Approached by one of my clients - Allied Dunbar, to sell them my course. After some tough bargaining, sold the rights to use the material, together with a 76 day handover. Trained the trainer for their top 5 trainers, as well as delivering a series of courses for the sales force and also the senior management as part of their drive to recruit additional talent.

Four man partnership building our own outdoor training facility, writing team dynamics programmes, selling them and running them. The business grew two distinct 'arms', which fed off each-other - 'Outdoor' style 'Outward Bound' work, to identify talent and grow groups of co-workers into teams and Management Consultancy, delivering Investors in People accreditation and 'putting people first' programmes. 'Flagship' clients include; American Express, BT, Allders, Clifford Chance, Brighton Borough Transport. Left to set up my own business, focusing on Sales Training.
