"A brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a nudge in the right direction". I am now using my experiences as a corporate trouble shooter to help growing companies avoid some of the pitfalls that I have encountered during my career working with some 300 companies of various sizes and international reach. The effectiveness of my work is enhanced by my collaboration with a boutique corporate finance house. The goal? To uncover the next ARM Holdings, whilst keeping control of it in the UK.Prior to 2000, I worked with the boards of large quoted companies such as BT and Shell, mid-cap companies including Britax and Inchcape. By 2004, my focus changed to working with SMEs, as the rewards are more engaging. I spent a considerable period of time helping a second generation owner grow his enterprise to the stage where it was able to attract institutional investment to fund international expansion.
