I have numerous years of Warehouse / Distribution Management experience in a variety of roles. My experience spans pick & pack operations, storage facilities, cross dock, e-commerce, goods in & out, reverse logistics and new start ups.I am very customer focused and able to provide and realise the importance of excellent customer service. I have worked directly with customers such as Amazon, McCain's and The NHS to name a few. Having daily contact with their contract managers as well as compiling and presenting Power Point decks for monthly and quarterly business reviews and fulfilling ad hoc requests and larger scale project needs. I was responsible for sourcing all permanent Shift Managers and Administrators and organising temp to perm Warehouse Operatives, covering a 24/6 rota. As well as sourcing all equipment, organising and delivering initial training and inductions, development of SSOW, Working Instructions and Risk Assessments. Designing the floor layout of 81,000 square feet of warehouse space; including the removal of the previous customers stock, working closely with them to ensure they vacated on time.I attended daily conference calls with the customer, and regular progress meetings. The start up was a success and I achieved all deadlines set enabling an on time go live date.
