This was Palletforce’s first 3PL venture. I was responsible for sourcing all permanent Shift Managers and Administrators and organising temp to perm Warehouse Operatives, covering a 24/6 rota. As well as sourcing all equipment, organising and delivering initial training and inductions, development of SSOW, Working Instructions and Risk Assessments. Designing the floor layout of 81,000 square feet of warehouse space; including the removal of the previous customers stock, working closely with them to ensure they vacated on time.I attended daily conference calls with the customer, and regular progress meetings. The start up was a success and I achieved all deadlines set enabling an on time go live date.
