About David Fisher

David A. Fisher has over 30 years of successful experience in business, finance, and law. He strongly supports inclusive international economic development to promote global peace and prosperity, as well as investor profits. Through his Family Office, Bentley Capital, he is active in PE, VC, and Real Estate investments, especially in Affordable Housing, Climate Change, and other socially responsible assets. Climate Action Funds is an accelerator assisting the formation and operation of investment funds to fight climate change globally. He is a member and mentor at Harvard Alumni for Climate & the Environment (HACE).Mr. Fisher holds degrees from Davidson (BA), Vanderbilt Law School (JD), and Harvard Business School (MBA). He is also a member of Mensa, where he served on their Strategic Planning Committee. He is former Investment Committee Chairman and a Board Member at Innova Capital, a top PE firm investing in Central Europe. As a partner at Innova, he led many of Innova’s successful investments, with an audited track record over 4x & 40% returns. He also served on the Boards of the (a) Harvard Club of Poland, (b) Polish Private Equity Association, and (c) Polish National Investment Fund II (by appointment of the Prime Minister).Mr. Fisher also serves as (a) an Investment Committee Member of Taxim Capital, a top Turkish mid-market PE fund manager, and (b) Non-executive Director of Argo Group Ltd, a boutique hedge and PE fund manager.He has taken on several projects on behalf of major fund investors to (a) fix funds going through difficult periods, (b) investigate management malfeasance, and (c) form and train new investment funds and managers. He was a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors (IOD UK) and Chartered International Arbitrator (ChIA UK). He is a US citizen who was an Army Captain, resided in Europe for more than 15 years, and worked in many emerging markets. Currently, he spends about 1/2 of his time on charitable activities and speaks at numerous business and investment conferences.
