Benton Steffy is an Associate Director – Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. (“Oppenheimer”) in the Fishkill, NY office. Benton develops, implements and monitors investment portfolios for growth, income and capital preservation. Portfolios are developed using a highly disciplined and structured approach that involves information gathering, sector allocation strategy, investment selection and quarterly monitoring of progress. Benton's clients include individuals, families, businesses, institutions and organizations. He has been with Oppenheimer since 1993. Before joining the Firm, Benton was the owner of Broadway Buick in Newburgh, NY from 1977-1993. Benton received his B.S. from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in Business Management/Accounting. Additionally, he has his FINRA series 7, 63, and 65 licenses as well as life, accident and health insurance.I am licensed in the following States: Arizona, Colorado, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington.
