Hello! Thanks for taking a look at my page. I am a Senior at Chatham Charter School, and I'm passionate about athletics, learning new languages, playing the drums, chess, travel and exploring nature. I've always been fascinated by airplanes, and my interest grew stronger after attending Rice University's Aerospace and Aviation Academy Camp last summer. My dream is to one day become a pilot, so I am hoping to join Air Force ROTC next year at college. I love making music, having played the drum set for 12 years and African djembe for 7. I have played percussion for my high school band all 4 years of high school, and look forward to continuing to play in college. My love of music transfers into my love of language-- I have studied Spanish in high school, and have taught myself some Russian, Czech and Cherokee. I would love to learn French as well, and plan to study that in college in addition to History. In high school, I became an Eagle Scout and participated in chess tournaments on the weekend. Additionally, I played Varsity Soccer and Varsity Tennis for my school, and was a member of Archery Club, Beta Club and Honor Role all 4 years.
