Most SAP implementation partners were new to Azure at this time while I was one of the few who has technical knowledge of the SAP application stacks, I was charged with creating a training curriculum for the migration of on-premises SAP installation to Azure. This content included the design of Azure networking, resource management strategy, SAP system migration procedures, and operations of an SAP on the cloud landscape. In a period of 2-3 years, the small team I formed and trained was able to reach a dozen of Gobal System Integrators and subsequently stayed engaged in Azure Engineering supported co-sell efforts. This enablement initiative planted the seeds for the SAP on Azure business for the years to come.
