As a member of the Central Management team, I work with the CEO and focus on delivering the overall strategy. This includes, advising on and assisting in projects across all central service departments as well managing the marketing and BD functions. The main objectives are to increase organic growth and strategic acquisition, head hunt key individuals, increase profit, restructure, develop new practice areas, develop pricing strategies, refine the customer journey and create efficient ways of working. I also manage the wider marketing, BD and Client Services team.

Working with the Chief Executive and Senior Clerk, I managed the development of the Chambers via traditional and online business development activities. Responsible for managing: internal events, client facing events, third party suppliers, promotional materials, website content, social media, advertising, competitor research, market analysis, email marketing, preparation of business presentations/pitches and reviewing new opportunities for public access.

In 2008, I launched a travel guide and discount card for 18-25 year olds going to Tenerife on Holiday. I designed and published a Travel magazine including information and tips on: the best beaches, bars, restaurants and insider knowledge. The magazine also contained maps of nightlife areas and the publication was aimed at younger holiday makers. Pack 4 Tenerife’s motto was ‘Know B4 You Go', and it was marketed to be a competitor to ‘club 18-30’. Our holidays were the same, but you didn’t have to follow the crowd or pay the ‘Party Rep Holiday' prices and you never missed out on the fun.2009 saw the launch of the e-commerce website, to which I designed the aesthetics and copy, including a Paypal gateway for online purchases. In May 2009 I moved to Tenerife to negotiate advertising and discounts with the managers and owners of the main nightclubs in Playa de las Americas. I negotiated advertising and discount deal with Hooters, Linekers, Tramps, Mett Bar, Wigan pier, Downunder bar, restaurants and excursions companies. My company’s logos were displayed up and around the nightlife centre before I moved back to England.I then ran an effective revenue stream via social media and email campaigns, including setting up symbiotic business relationships with other excursions companies.
