• Design, Implement and Support high availability Workload Automation BMC Control-M environments• Upgrade Control-M environments to the latest supported version• Migrate existing batch environments from any third-party solution (e.g. IBM TWS, CA AutoSys, Cisco TES, CRON, etc.) to Workload Automation BMC Control-M• Business Application Batch Process analysis to reduce overall batch time and increase batch throughput • Define batch standards and operational processes• Design and implement batch solutions to meet business, reporting, security, monitoring, auditing and compliance requirements• Apply Workload Automation BMC Control-M best practices• Workload Automation BMC Control-M onsite/remote user training and customer support

* Key Responsibilities *• Batch Application Support for OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications)• Design and implement new batch flows to achieve business requirements• Analyse batch to identify bottlenecks and design fixes to reduce overall batch time • Design and support new batch flows for the Global OFSAA FTP project throughout the SDLC release* Achievements *• In first 6 weeks I redesigned the batch and reduced the daily batch failures by up to 75%• Introduced automated notifications to business teams to provide them with batch status information• Introduced automation to application releases and added rollback functionality to the release process• Replaced ‘Time Based Batch’ with ‘Event Based Batch’ to improve integration between OFSAA and upstream/downstream applications, reduce batch failures and shorten the batch daily run time by up to 5 hours

I was part of the Systems Management team who are responsible for ensuring SM solutions are working properly and providing value to IT Ops teams and Business Users.* Key Responsibilities *• Primary Support and SME for Control-M, AutoSys and Secure Transport• Prepare and maintain Design, Support, Maintenance and DR documentation for Control-M, AutoSys and Secure Transport• Advise Project Managers, Solution and Infrastructure Architects, Developers and Testers regarding implementing Batch and File Transfer solutions using best practices for Control-M and Secure Transport• Design and implement procedures for requesting Batch and File Transfer services and charge-back modules from IT Operation teams• Provide Control-M training to Production Control, Testing and Development teams* Achievements *•Lead a project to convert the company’s existing Workload Automation solution to a new Enterprise Workload Automation solution – responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, implementing and user training • Primary Control-M resource for the company’s NextGen project, implanting a new Core Registry application, focusing on design and build of batch for the project, implanting batch in testing environments and developing processes for NextGen provider to work with scheduling team ensuring efficient and timely delivery• Assisting a large BI implementation with batch design, plan and execution, including the coordination of batch promotion between Pre-Production and Production environments• Lead technical resource on a project implementing an Enterprise Managed File Transfer solution, which included technical implementation, environment and project documentation, creating work processes, training IT and business users, and assisting business teams with implementation and use of new solution• Presented at BMC’s Melbourne Control-M User Group in June 2013 regarding the implementation of Control-M and SSIS Batch Processing
