I was a BDM for both the Contract / Accounting part of the business, as well as the Financing and Back Office side through my 4 year tenure at Outsauce Group. Having looked for a new and exciting opportunity in a diverse and challenging environment, West Yorkshire Police provided exactly that.Highly trained and personally excelled at conflict management, preserving life and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout my time in police custody suites across West Yorkshire.The role included:Collating evidential samples for court/prosecution purposes; providing evidence at court; intelligence gathering and recording; monitoring detained persons for ongoing health and welfare issues; applying approved restraining techniques to prevent harm to detainees or staff; managing identification procedure for witnesses.In addition to the daily responsibilities, I was elected as the sole Detention Officer representative as part of the operational change team within West Yorkshire Police, following the government's overhaul of the UK's Public Sector services.

My role was initially to build a team of field based Underwriters for Rooftop Mortgages, part of Bear Stearns, as a specialist mortgage lender in the UK. This included recruitment and development of 12 individuals to be regionally based across the UK and to engage directly with mortgage intermediaries. Managing risk and exposure, whilst also maintaining relationships at senior level across the client base and developing new business opportunities.

My role was to create and develop a regional office, based in the north, to cover Northern England and Scotland.

My role included risk management, business quality and account management.

My role developed into a leadership position at the time of leaving. I was responsible for leading the team of Mortgage Underwriters for the 4 subsidiary companies of the Leeds Building Society.

Private in the British Army (Reserves). A role that included operating as an Infantry soldier in C-Coy Prince of Wales Regiment of Yorkshire. The role changed as the Company moved from Infantry to Mortar. This role was undertaken in parallel with my full-time employment over this period.
