During this time he was designated a technical expert by the Ontario Courts and successfully assisted in the arrest and prosecution of hackers.Ben was selected as one of Business in Vancouver’s “40 Under 40” and has a BA Honours in Media Studies from Queen’s University where he also studied economics and computer science. In his spare time Ben volunteers with branding, marketing, and knowledge-worker training in small communities on Vancouver Island. He funds a granting program for small businesses to build digital tools as well as a scholarship program. For this work he was a finalist candidate for the Prime Minister's Canadian Volunteer Awards (CVA) in 2016.Ben also has a very fuzzy dog.
