Worked for nationally ranked SBA lender, and successfully developed business from internal and external referral sources. Focused on sourcing deals for business expansion, real estate, business acquisition, working capital, etc.

Underwrote and evaluated over $125M in loans across a variety of industries including aerospace, leasing companies, food service, telecommunications, commercial real estate, & energy, among others. Analyzed business financial statements to identify trends & ratios, debt service coverage, sources and uses of cash flow and determined appropriate loan structures. Was secretary for Board Loan Committee.

Worked with institutional client accounts, and was involved in the sales process, responding to RFP's and prospecting for new clients. During my time, our product AUM grew from ~$3B to ~$7B. Much of my focus was implementing processes, systems & software to scale the business unit. I was also the Inagural chairperson of the Scholarship Committee, where I developed and organized a private scholarship to support local entrepreneurship.

Was selected as one of 20 students to manage $900,000 in a School of Business, student-managed equity fund. Performed fundamental securities research and analysis, selecting undervalued stocks based on valuations from pricing models the we created. Earned a 13.6% fourth quarter return outperforming the S&P 500 fourth quarter return of 5.5%.
