 Led all aspects of the strategy and development of the global IT infrastructure and software development and release platforms serving eight brands and the largest online university in the world including the 300 campuses and learning centers serving over 400,000 students and military personnel worldwide.  Key voting member of the technology governance board that oversaw all technology investments and adoption across the enterprise. Responsible for vendor management and engagement across the technology manufacturer and partner ecosystem. Core member for the executive team responsible for providing annual roadmap, budget items and financial justification including total cost of ownership of current and future technology investments to the Chief Information Office, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and President. Responsible for quarterly reporting of key technology risk items to the risk oversight committee that is comprised of the internal auditors, C level executives and board members.  Led the team responsible for platform architecture, development and delivery.  Duties included 24x7x365 availability and performance of all applications and services globally.  Led the development organizations responsible for the development of delivery platforms and automation of the software development lifecycle. Responsible for the organization developing back end automation processes, continuous software delivery and DevOps teams.  Directed over 240 staff and a budget of $85M, driving significant improvements in performance and availability and cost efficiency through continuous improvement programs while sourcing commodity technologies to strategic partners. Drove the vision and adoption of Hybrid cloud services supporting the online classroom. Operated to a high level of excellence maintaining 99.9% availability, with a software defect rate of less than 2% while increasing software release velocity by 400%.

 Developed and managed an organization of 110 employees responsible for on boarding of IT services and ongoing sustainability of all student and internal business application service delivery.  Developed and executed annual operating budget of $10 million and capital IT budget of $12 million.  Responsible for business service level management and stakeholder management across the entire application and infrastructure stack.  Selected by the CIO to head up a new IT division to improve student system availability, performance and capacity. Managed the team responsible for the architecture, design, build and daily operational support of the online student classroom platform. Increased up-time for student systems from 95% availability to 99.5%. Drove the redesign of the online classroom across multiple organizations.

Leadership of the architecture, implementation and operations of the voice and data technologies for the global enterprise comprised of more than 300 campuses and learning centers and 3 data centers. Directed the delivery of call center technologies and management to 15,000 agents distributed across more than 200 centers nationwide. Responsible for the vendor management, provisioning and cost management of the telecommunications infrastructure. Lead a team of 98 resources and annual budget of $50M responsible for the design, build and operational support of the enterprise voice and data network infrastructure. Awarded Computer World honors for innovative VoIP network design consolidating 300+ phone systems and 10 call centers into 7 regional hubs across the United States. Responsible for the creation of the first network operations center (NOC) for global technology infrastructure monitoring and response.
