CCS, a leading global fundraising consulting and management firm, provides fundraising, development services and strategic consulting to nonprofit organizations worldwide. With offices throughout North America and in London and Dublin, CCS designs successful and sustainable development initiatives for organizations across every non-profit sector. In my time with CCS, I designed, led and implemented fundraising programs at multiple regional and national non-profits, in five sectors, in seven states, with goals in excess of $300 million. I served in virtually every role on a development team, trained dozens of leaders to realize their goals and have personally secured more than $19 million in philanthropic support.

Taught middle school reading, writing and social science in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side. While in the classroom, I created a student-run newspaper, coached our football team and developed a Male Mentoring program, a Drill Team, and a Poetry Slam Competition. I partnered with numerous community organizations to provide opportunities for my students-- including the creation of "Even a Lion Can Get Lost in the Jungle", a published compilation of positive short stories from my classroom and community. I continue to mentor many of my students outside of the classroom as they strive toward college and beyond.
