Profile bio

About Ben Witzenman

Besides my family, I love…Leading/Managing/Teaching/Mentoring. I lead by what I say and what I do. I’m genuine, compassionate and respectful, but can also be direct and decisive. I realize and respect that we all have lives outside the office, so I always try to balance what’s best for the employee and the company in any situation. I enjoy giving advice and guiding my team into making the best decisions possible, and helping them with any project management or process challenges. My philosophy is to help my team help themselves, for their future career growth.Project Management. Sure, I enjoy planning and executing marketing campaigns (print or digital), organizing cross-functional teams, creating/maintaining schedules, creating/modifying budgets, writing functional specs/instructions, going on press checks, thinking through job process…..but I REALLY enjoy adding value/filling in the grey areas of my and other’s job responsibilities to provide the best value and product for a client.Solving Problems. Although, I don’t want problems to occur, inevitably they do, and I want to be the one to think it through and solve it. I take a calm, logical, yet, quick approach and make sure I’ve gotten all information from all involved before proceeding with a solution. I always keep stakeholders in the know and make sure all communication is clear; even if a solution isn’t known yet, I let stakeholders know what the next steps are to comfort them that it’s being handled the right way. Efficiency. I enjoy creating, rethinking and evolving company and departmental process to be the most efficient it can be; always keeping a sharp eye on the needs of the client and the company. Process is great to have until it’s not, so I always keep my mind open to modifying, bending and improving the process to be the most efficient for current needs/requirements.
