Passionate about the cosmos and advancing technologies driving our journey into space, I am a dedicated professional with a wide-ranging set of interests spanning aerospace engineering, clean energy, and environmental sustainability.I broke into the new space industry as the inaugural intern at TransAstra, a pioneering space startup based in San Fernando. Here, I immersed myself in groundbreaking projects, from developing a breakthrough telescope network for space domain awareness to testing how well microwaves can release water from ice trapped in lunar regolith. Notably, I played a pivotal role in the design and construction of the Mini Bee prototype, showcasing our ability to extract resources from asteroid simulants using concentrated solar energy.Throughout my academic pursuits at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where I earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering, I continued to contribute remotely to TransAstra's endeavors. I was key in the development of the MIDAS software.Now, as a full-time member of the TransAstra team, I serve as the Project Manager for MIDAS, overseeing its evolution as a critical tool in space exploration. Additionally, I manage operations of our remote telescopes, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of our observation missions.With a solid foundation in aerospace engineering and a fervent commitment to pushing the boundaries of space exploration, I am poised to continue making impactful contributions to our journey towards becoming a spacefaring civilization.
