Experience• Lead Finance support for two product divisions of over 200 employees powering 15 product lines and producing over $200M of annual revenues.• Met weekly with product leads to understand detailed analysis and reporting on product feature releases and how those features mapped to revenue and expenses throughout the fiscal period.• Conducted analysis of results and related impacts of sales and other promotions throughout the quarter in order to advise management on appropriate sale timing to drive optimum results to quarterly financial results.

Experience• Member of FP&A founding team (hire #3) providing financial guidance and business planning services for all aspects of Zynga’s business, from studio (game) teams to central services and administrative functions.• Built institution wide FP&A budgeting and forecasting cycles from the ground up, introducing the company to monthly financial processes and providing Zynga with its first official financial plan in early 2010. • Part of three-person scoping, selection, implementation and development team of COGNOS TM1 planning tool to ensure appropriate scaling of the FP&A organization to be public company ready.• Designed, implemented and justified allocation methodologies supporting indirect expense allocation to game studios effectively creating product level P&L’s for all of Zynga’s core products down to Adj. EBITDA equivalent metrics.• Partnered with the Chief People Officer to ensure accurate headcount reporting, transparency, and budget management as the company grew from approximately 500 headcount to over 3,500 heads in three years.• Managed financial support for all central service teams at Zynga, owning budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic project analysis across dozens of departments and business owners and total opex spend of over $600M annually. • Drove selection, hiring, and review of over a dozen additional Zynga team members across Zynga’s Global FP&A team over a three-year period.• Built business case for Zynga’s build out of a direct advertising sales force from scratch to support ad revenue growth from zero to $35M annually and network advertising to over $100M annually in 12 months.
