Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of California, Merced, I focus my research on the relationship between religion and politics, sectarian conflicts, and identity politics.In our increasingly secular society, I find it fascinating that over half of the global population still identifies as religious. I am particularly curious about how these religious beliefs influence political attitudes and behaviors.I am a native Korean speaker, and I am proficient in both English and Japanese. Additionally, my experience as an exchange student in Israel has equipped me with intermediate-level skills in Arabic and Hebrew.
