The AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowship supports my work as an Operations Research Analyst for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Cost Assessment & Program Evaluation (OSD-CAPE). There, I led a 6-month study of the disaster response enterprise, including an audit of interagency reimbursement and critical analysis of financial management policies and practices. I also performed computational analysis of DOD concepts of employment. These included modeling logistics and sustainment during wartime and building simulations of new ways to deliver supplies to disaster victims.
