ENG-GER translations in the fields of medicine, medical technology and pharmaceuticals. I've been a professional translator for over 30 years and have processed countless documents ranging from patient and customer information and promotional material to registration documents, clinical documents, operator's manuals, scientific articles, videos and presentations. In 2011, after 19 years as an in-house translator with Baxter Deutschland GmbH, I co-founded Beomed Translation Team - Network of Freelance Translators. Since then, I've supplied language services to quite a number of former colleagues, colleagues who have moved on to different healthcare companies, as well as to new clients and a few highly-specialized boutique Translation Service Providers.I'm an expert user of translation technology (now: MemoQ), terminology databases and research tools and very keen on finding new options for improvement and professional networking. Educating peers in the use of these tools is a matter very dear to my heart.Specialties: Translations focused on rare diseases, vaccines, dialysis surgical sealants, infusion devices and solutions, therapeutic proteins, anaesthetics, transfusion medicine, cell processing devices and disposables, blood procedures, HIV and hepatitis drugs, antibiotics and anti-infectives, hemophilia products (factor concentrates), cardiology products (heart valves/TAVI/catheters) etc.
