This role co-leads the Education and Policy Group in undertaking research, policy development, and education services for graduate students at the University of Melbourne. The Higher Education Manager takes the lead on intra-university relationships, industry engagement, graduate groups or societies, and programs development to assist postgraduate students in study skills and transition to employment.

This was a 2IC role, managing all casual staff, advising the council/board and general manager about governance and finances, and completing special projects in policy frameworks, procedures, records keeping and improving IT infrastructure. The role also managed the 1888 Building, a 24-hour building at the University of Melbourne for the dedicated use of graduate students. During this period I was also acting General Manager and Centre Manager.

This role managed the operations of the print and publishing services for graduate students at the University of Melbourne. In two years the service quadrupled in revenue and expanded services into a number of areas of digital printing for graduate students.
