Responsible for designing corporate apparel and headwear for companies such as Cadillac, Google, Jack Daniels, Cisco Systems, Audi, McDonalds, etc.As R&D Project Leader, responsible for researching and implementing techniques for fabric laser etching, having created five innovative techniques, making out of the box uses of the laser etching machine and pushing its capabilities beyond its limits. Such techniques include one that allows for photographic image reproduction, overcoming the limitations of the machine.Responsible as well for designing marketing material, including logos, flyers, brochures, tags, ads, etc. and retouching and recolouring photos.

I launched tozco/TZDZ as soon as I finished university and it was an awesome experience!During its five years of existence, I was faced with numerous challenges and had to learn new skills on the go on a daily basis. I did a bit of everything for this company, from brand conception and design to production management, passing by photoshoots - both behind and in front of the camera... - web design, sales, etc. It was really a bootcamp kind of thing where I MacGyvered my way through the hardest tasks, competing for space with renowned upscale brands and managing to sell alongside them in high end stores in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Among other things, I created an iconic T-shirt design, that was readily pirated and is reprinted to this day all across Latin America, for what I feel weirdly proud.

Despite being an intern, my mentor Angela Carvalho let me fly solo on a few projects, guiding me with valuable input all the time, but without ever actually touching or modifying the projects herself, which was great for my initial professional development.Being a multidisciplinary firm, I was able to tackle the most different kinds of things, practicing and learning a lot about visual identity projects, 3D modelling and rendering, development of printed and digital presentations, image retouching, among other things.
