Learning and development is at the root of all I do. As a teacher in the Further Education sector I am a fully committed advocate for its transformational power in the lives of our students. What a difference a year in FE can make in a life: Confidence built, skills developed, self-belief instilled and off they go to the next stage of their lives!My work in education and training is greatly enhanced by an MSc in Personal and Management Coaching from UCC allowing me to work with my students and others to overcome performance inhibiting thoughts and turn them into something positive. I am a Council member of the Executive Institute of Ireland and served as Chairperson from 2015 to June 2017. I am a keen tennis player and sea swimmer.
