Project Management Works  The works consisting but not limited to; Preparation of Project plans that shall best fit the Employer’s interest, Preparing of TORs in accordance with the Employer's requirements, Procurement of Design firms - by tender or invitation., Follow up design works and approval of the design works in accordance with the Employer's requirements, Bid documents preparation, bid evaluation, and award contract for various Construction firms through out the Project period in accordance with the Project Plan, Administration of each effected Contracts, Co-ordination work with various Contractors, Supervise quality, progress and payments of each Contracts and Preparing of reports, daily, weekly and monthly to report to the Client and call site and management meeting with all stakeholders periodically.

Design and Build of Modjo-Hawassa Highway Project, Phase I: Modjo-Zeway, Lot II: Meki Zeway Section (37km)Position: Project Control & Planning EngineerWorking in Planning and Project Control team. My tasks includes but not limited to, Preparation of Master Work programs and any revision programs of the project, Payment Schedule and project breakdowns, Contractor administration, assignment of tasks, progress and output evaluation, Row issues and Possession of sites, official meetings and reports.Major Duties and Responsibilities:· Follow up the status of design of the Project, co-ordinate with the Design team for Contractual analysis of design documents.· Preparation and Revision of project breakdown and Schedule of payment.· Preparation of Monthly payment certificates.· Contractual document preparation for RoW related requirements.· Preparation of baseline program and other revision programs.· Contract administration of Subcontractors· Contractual Correspondence and record keeping for claims· Assist in the preparation of cost & time claims· Assessment construction outputs and productivity against the baseline program and other goals.· Calculating and reporting financial and physical progress of the project.· Implement and follow-up document control system of all departments· Follow up the work inspection system of the project

Jimma-Mizan Road Upgrading Contract 2: Bonga-Mizan Project. 120km, Asphalt Concrete.Position: Planning EngineerFully responsible for planning and coordinating day to day activities involving in requesting  for inspection of daily specific works and collecting analyzing the results from the consultants and finally reporting to the planning manager. Analyze everyday progress of the work in compares with the weekly, monthly and master work programs.Major Duties and Responsibilities:· Preparation of weekly and monthly work schedules and timely revision of master work program.· Progress calculation and reporting· Preparation of interim payment certificates· Contract administration, organizing and preparation of payment certificates for Sub-Contractors· Preparation of Contractual Correspondences· Preparation of contractual documents; request for Extension of time, Costs claims, and different reports for the parties involved in the Contract.

Jimma-Mizan Road Upgrading Contract 1: Jimma-Bonga Project. 110km, Asphalt Concrete.Position: Office EngineerFully responsible for planning and coordinating design of road sections and structures and other highway components. Major task also involves coordinating day-to day activities requesting inspection from consultants and calculating daily progress and result reporting.Major Duties and Responsibilities:· Handling correspondences.· Assist in the preparation of claims for extension of time and financial claims.· Preparation of monthly interim payment certificate and Supportive documents.· Preparation of design quantity and As-built quantity.· Preparation and timely revision of master work programs.· Preparations of schedules (weekly and monthly).· Work progress follow up and progress reporting.· Heavy equipment deployment schedule and calculating their utilization.· Preparation of method statements, manpower schedule and equipment schedule for different sections of work and for the whole project.· Preparation of different reports and meeting documents for dispute resolution expert, different financers of the project and ERA counterparts and for different officials.· Preparation of contract document and contract administration for sub-contractors.· Organizing and allocating of sub-contractors.· Preparation of payment certificate for sub-contractors.· Leading and organizing activities involving in demobilization of equipment and machineries, different plants and also re-instatement of borrow pit and quarry sites· Leading and organizing Environmental compliance works of the project with ERA representatives and the respective local authorities.· Preparation of As-built drawings, Statement at completion and Final Statement of the project· Preparation of Cost claims that differed to Dispute review expert of the project.
