I am a PhD student at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria. My research project is focusing on the role of dietary fiber in shaping the interplay between microbiota, the host, and Campylobacter jejuni. It focuses on understanding the molecular pathogenesis of C. jejuni in chickens and assessing the host's immune response. This research is pivotal for understanding how Campylobacter jejuni affects poultry, which has significant implications for food safety and public health under the framework of the One Health approach. By investigating these interactions, my goal is to contribute to strategies that mitigate foodborne illnesses and improve overall animal and human health.
