During this time, I stepped away from daily operations to develop and introduce new technologies, processes and accounting best practices to conform with GAAP standards and better accommodate high volume transactions, prompt payment of suppliers, forecasting, real-time financial data and 360 visibility. SPECIAL PROJECTS➫ Hired experts in the field of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and improved our proprietary technologies to comply with Department of Defense (DoD) standards➫ Successfully applied for and was awarded GSA (General Services Administration) contract. GSA contracts streamline government sales processes by establishing pricing, terms and conditions that government buyers can use to purchase from a company➫ Worked with technical team to standardize part number formatting, improve web technology and increase SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This effort resulted in a 35% increase in web traffic, attracting over 70,000 unique visitors per month

I assumed the role of First Vice President after my wife, Freida Schusterman, purchased Jaco in 2008. I manage our overall business operations while Freida directs our model, strategy and high-level decision-making. Jaco had been operating since 1971, and she saw the untapped potential for taking the company to that next level.
