I was working at the Budapest Shared Service Center of Citigroup as senior engineer in the Citi Architecture and Technology Engineering, End user experience engineering department. My main responsibilities were around real-time communications and video communication solutions. I’ve started as the first member of the video engineering team in Budapest, since then I’ve helped to build an engineering team here working on videoconferencing and video streaming technology design, testing and integration. From 2015 I was leading a team of 6 engineers. Our tasks included testing and designing videoconferencing and video streaming solutions to be used globally within Citi.My responsibilities were:- creating the yearly engineering roadmap and project plan for the team- working on the solution design projects as lead engineer- managing the testing and design projects- developing software for test automation- developing software for enhancing user experience with the real time communication solution portfolio- communicating with our vendors and suppliers, tracking issues with the solutions and working with them to resolve those- solution integration to Citi’s private cloud infrastructure

My main tasks were the management and supervision of mostly regional ITdevelopment projects in retail IT systems, identifying and designing processes to supportthe business strategy of the division, analyzing the existing retail IT systems and designingimprovements from database to UI level.My other responsibilities were:• project planning, both financial and technical, preparation of project proposals• contacting the MOL Retail subsidiaries and their IT departments, and coordinatingtheir cooperation• data provisioning for business decisions, return on investment calculations, riskanalysis and process developmentImportant projects:• KSS PriceNet implementation for the Hungarian fuel retail network with 333 sites• SAP PM based asset and maintenance management system implementation forthe Hungarian, Romanian and Slovakian filling station network• SAP BusinessObjects based regional sales reporting system for 10 countries

According to the convergent communications trend the separate IP telephony andvideoconferencing technical groups of the company were merged on 01.01.2009. In thenew back office I got the position of senior engineer. My duties were amongst others todesign videoconferencing solutions, educate and support the sales team, consult withcustomers and make customer presentations.Important projects:• Magyar Telekom: senior engineer in the Magyar Telekom – Deutsche Telekom B2BCisco telepresence project. My tasks were to design, help and coordinate the workof the international engineering team working on the project from MT, DT andCisco.• Magyar Telekom: videoconferencing and telepresence service infrastructure design• Magyar Telekom: senior engineer in implementing the governmentalvideoconferencing service• Praktiker: design of country-wide videoconferencing network• Axiál: design of country-wide videoconferencing network

With the acquisition of the KFKI Group Magyar Telekom merged on 01.01.2008 the threeformer companies BCN Systems House, ICON and KFKI-LNX into one company – KFKISystem Integration Ltd. Here I became manager of the videoconferencing technical backoffice. However my first duty was to act as an expert in the data migration project, in thatwe transferred the information from BCN's EMIR company information system into KFKI'sCRM, project management, trouble ticket and asset management and SAP systems.Besides managing the rather small videoconferencing back office my duties were to consultwith customers, to create system designs and customer presentations and to technicallysupport the sales team.Important projects:• Raiffeisen Bank: design and implementation of the expansion of the country-widevideoconferencing network using Tandberg devices• Magyar Telekom: design of the governmental videoconferencing service usingTandberg and Polycom devices in cooperation with Kopint-Datorg• Magyar Telekom: operation and support of regional Cisco telepresence network• KFKI Zrt.: expert in the solution selection and design of the Workflow IntegratedDocument Management System for the company

At BCN Systems House the Competence Center was the technical sales support andsystems engineering group and the Business Consultancy Department was dealing withbusiness development and sales support. Managing the two groups my duties were tooptimize sales support processes and create reports for the company management, butalso to do technical sales support, solution design on the field of videoconferencing.Important projects:• Raiffeisen Bank: design and implementation of a country-wide videoconferencingnetwork using Tandberg devices• Medicinliget: regional elderly people assistant call center design and implementation

As the most important functions of the EMIR system started, I got new tasks as senior ITsupport manager. My group was responsible for the IT infrastructure operation at ourcustomers. My duties were the development of the group, monitoring SLAs, thedevelopment of the support processes and also keeping contact with customers about theiroperational contracts.

During this period I was working on the development of BCN's company information system(EMIR). This system was supporting the main business processes of the company, like leadto order, project implementation, billing, trouble ticketing and asset management. As headdesigner / developer my duties were to consult with the business departments, to collectthe requirements, to design the data model of the system and to develop the system. Theaccounting was outsourced to Euraccount Ltd. Euraccount is using a SAP system so wehad to design and implement the interfaces transferring among others billing informationand customer balances between the two systems.

I started working at BCN Ltd. in the videoconferencing and multimedia group as a systemsengineer. My duties were to technically support the sales group, to design and implementsolutions for our customers, and also to provide technical support for the customers withtheir systems already in operation.Important projects:• 2001, Magyar Telekom (Matáv): design of a managed, personal videoconferencingservice, implementation of a pilot system• 2003, Dunapack: design and implementation of a regional videoconferencingnetwork using Tandberg devices• 2003, BCN Kft.: design and development of a web based CRM system forsupporting the videoconferencing sales• 2004, IS:Energy: design and implementation of a country-wide videoconferencingnetwork using Tandberg devices• 2004, BAT Hungary: design and implementation of a country-widevideoconferencing network• 2004, Audi Hungaria Motor: implementation of a new DNS / DHCP service in theplant in Győr, working in cooperation with the Hungarian and German networksupport team of Audi• 2004, BCN Kft.: design and development of a new company information systembased on my previous CRM system. With 01.01.2005 Magyar Telekom (Matáv)merged its two system integrator companies – BCN and Matávcom – into a newcompany – BCN Systems House Ltd. The new company was to use an advancedversion of BCN's CRM system – called EMIR – instead of Matávcom's SAP system.With one of my colleagues I started developing the new system in October, ourgoal was to have the basic CRM functionality (lead to order) and the mergedcustomer data of the two companies available in January. As the project wassuccessfully completed the system was later developed to support ,all the mainbusiness processes of the new company.
