Throughout my professional life I've never shied away from tough problems or hard work. It's why I chose to pursue a doctorate in Physics. I have a passion not only for solving problems but gaining a deep understanding of the underlying mechanisms at work.I am a Health Data Scientist for the UBC Data Science institute where I leverage my background in medical physics to solve problems involving synthetic medical image generation other challenging problems in health industry today. I have also worked as a consultant for retailers in the US and Canada to solve business problems relating to sales and inventory forecasting. Advanced problem-solving requires an advanced skill set. I have a strong background in computer programming, including CUDA, C++, Python, MATLAB, R and assembly language programming for which I have instructed university level courses. I have experience in digital signal processing, image processing, physics simulations and software development, among others.
