The Ethiopian Business Advisory Service Providers’ Association (EBASPA) is an established association registered with the FDRE Authority for Civil Society Organization (ACSO). It was granted legal personality with Registry Number 6441 on 22nd September 2022. EBASPA envisions a thriving market -oriented professional services sector in Ethiopia, where Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs) play a vital role in shaping a sustainable economy through the concerted effortsf the association.Currently, EBASPA has partnered with several development organizations that work for the excellence of the BDS ecosystem in Ethiopia. So far partnered with GIZ -PSD, USAID -MS4G, First Consult and AMEA. It has a well-established office, highly experienced staff, relevant policies and recording system. In partnership with GIZ, it has launched the Ethio -BDS Portal, with over 100 BDS providers registered across the country. Internally, it has developed a comprehensive 5 -year strategic plan and developed code of ethics. Furthermore, it has prepared workshops and events to promote the association and interface with SMEs.EBASPA works to high impact BDS provision by creating standardized certification programs for BDSPs with the aim of quality services that grow SMEs and be a catalyst in the private sector development.https://www.ebaspa.org/
