The CrowdComfort platform offers building owners and managers access to aggregated data to improve employee productivity, safety & comfort to optimize building performance and lower operational costs. Previously, Eric was the Principal Investigator for Dept. of Energy's Innovation Ecosystem award program. Eric developed of the Building Technology Showcase at the Fraunhofer CSE (http://cse.fraunhofer.org/5cc/), a 50,000 Sq. Ft. project representing the future of sustainable design and construction, in which manufacturers contribute cutting-edge technologies for building-integrated research, development, and demonstration. Eric holds three patents covering ultra-low temperature refrigeration and transportation methods, using recycled CO2 gas as a refrigerant. He is also a named inventor on 12 patents related to building, energy, crowd-sourced mobile operations, and geo-location.
